Us too ...had to find a different way, so is fly to thessaloniki ,car hire for 2 weeks, as you say hoping all goes well and will eventually holiday on thassos

All being well we fly from Manchester - Thessaloniki 2 weeks today then taxi to Keremoti to take that fantastic ferry ride (it takes this long, see photo).

We were booked for standard TUI two weeks in early June which was cancelled but at least we got money back with no bother. Had to have Lidl special Myhtos and english brewed Amstel but made most of the good weather early on. PHOTO ATTACHED

Which part are you going as I promised to take some photos to a restaurant manager at Skala Potamia of his old car but was aborted.

Will you be anywhere near.

Looks like it will be next year for me, still after 30 plus years a few more months wont hurt

I was looking to fly to Kavala with a taxi to Keremoti and then that wonderful ferry ride! Prices seemed to be creeping up, I guess everyone is wanting to make more money.

I'll stop in Thassos town and reminisce about good ol days gone past.

Hi Steve, we always stay in Limenas I'm afraid, and never make solid plans to go anywhere (we learnt about the "Thassos effect" 20 years ago, lol).
I'm sure a lot of people will be going to Skala Potamia or Golden Beach and I'm sure if you posted your request on a couple of facebook groups you wouldn't have a problem.

We made it ....trouble free flight from manchester to thessaloniki, luckily our PLF form QR code was not to be tested on landing ,so straight through to potos car hire who met us at the car , lovely 2hr drive to keramoti , form to fill in to board ferry just to say youve not been near covid, temp check on boarding ferry and police on board to make sure 2 meters adhered to, thassos is very quiet with early closing in many places ,but still as beautiful and chilled

Yes blackdog, look to be only 3 rooms taken, loving the quietness tbh , covid taken very seriously ,all waiters wearing masks and everything disinfected after use condiments etc , we are only 1 couple of 2 english couples here and have had the warmest of welcomes which has been lovely
